Sunflower joined with the community and parents to hold a Unity Walk where students take a stand against bullying in our schools. The students listened to our guest speakers, Officer Zepeda from the Border Patrol and Chief Madueno from our city Police Department. The speakers asked the students to help us rid the schools of bullies. Our PTO also contributed to the assembly by donating a special gift to each student. Parents, community members, teachers and students then walked the field to read all the anti-bullying posters, then joined hands to make a pledge against allowing bullying to happen in our school.
